EASTER ZONAL LEADERS’ CONFERENCE

The Easter Zonal Leaders’ Conferences took place during the Easter weekend from Friday, April 2nd to Sunday April 4th, 2010.

    Purpose of The Meetings:
  1. To communicate God’s message to our ministry for 2010, with clarity and fresh inspiration such that our brethren are rightly positioned to take full advantage of it throughout the rest of the year.
  2. To create an atmosphere where our leaders and workers from the various chapters are re-acquainted with the vision of our great ministry especially as it concerns impacting the youth of our great nation.
  3. To re-iterate the timely message of the recently concluded Delegate Youth Conference with Pastor Chris, 7 principles for Leadership; and to motivate the brethren to take necessary actions to effect lasting changes as leaders in their respective campuses and environs.
  4. To inspire the leaders afresh towards embracing and living to the full, the uncommon and higher life made available to us in Christ Jesus, through his death, burial and resurrection.

THE MEETINGS
The program comprised of 5 sessions in the 3-day period handled by the Zonal Secretaries/ directors and delegated Chapter Pastors in each of the 11 zones, comprising of over 100 Campus Fellowships of the BLW Campus Ministry across Nigeria. The messages refreshed the hearts of the brethren on the divine life that we now possess as Christians, teaching them how to take charge of challenges that they confront and win always. Reiterating Pastor Chris’ teaching on the 7 principles of leadership at the earlier held Youth Delegates’ Conference, the attendees at these conferences were encouraged to take action to achieve God’s dream and ideology of making men gods through the gospel of Christ entrusted to us as Christians.
Also, specialized seminars held during the program in which topics varying from soul winning and follow up, commitment, prayer, bible study and finances were taken. The program was also an avenue to inspire the leaders towards ardent and consistent partnership with the Ministry.
